Where is Topical`s Parking Area?

There are 3 parking areas to choose from when going to Topical!

1)The area directly in front of the restaurant

2) The area to the left side of the restaurant

3) The open area across the street from the restaurant (look for the “P” parking sign)

What does Topical look like on the inside?

By the entrance, there is a sign displaying the day`s Recommended Menu, as well as the Take-Out Menu.

Make sure to check out the day`s Recommended Menu!

When you enter the restaurant, if the seats are full, write your name on the Waiting List on the small desk in front of you.

Once writing your name, number of people in your group, and seating preference (counter カウンター or box ボックス seat), please take a seat to the right of the Waiting List. When a seat has opened up, the staff will call your name.

Important Points to Note about Topical

You CAN NOT make reservations at Topical.

If you want to go to Topical with a large group, I suggest you be prepared to wait a little before being seated.

By the way, these pictures I took are when I went to Topical in April. Please be aware that this is a very popular restaurant, especially during the high summer season.

Let`s Eat!

Feel free to take any of the dishes coming around on the belt in front of your seat.

***IF YOU TAKE A PLATE, YOU KEEP THE PLATE***

You can also order directly from the sushi chefs by either talking to them, or writing your order on the small sheets of paper on your table and handing it to the chef or to a staff member.

Free water and hot tea are self-serve at Topical.

For hot tea, tea cups and the powdered tea are over the sushi conveyor belt, next to the small dishes for Soy Sauce and smaller utensils for children.

Powdered Tea

After putting some tea into your cup, press the cup against the black knob under the faucet to fill the cup with very hot water.

Also pictured in this image are the containers for wasabi and pickled ginger.

For regular water, go over to these dispenser machines and use the cups to the left.

Topical`s Happy Service

-Birthday Special Present

If you go to Topical on your birthday (or 1 day before or after), they will give you a beer OR 1 sushi plate on the house. For children, staff will give them free candies and sweets.

Make sure you take proof that it`s your birthday!

-No Wasabi Sushi and Mini Sushi (mostly for kids, but also available for adults)

-Switch-Out Sushi (as long as the type of sushi are the same price, you can request one sushi piece to be substituted by a different sushi piece)

Summary

Kaiten Sushi Topical uses fresh produce and fish in their sushi while keeping their prices reasonable. If you want to eat sushi in Furano, and particularly Kaiten Sushi, Topical is the place to go!
