At the Curry Shop CAMEL, they have a lunch buffet to go with your curry

This time, let`s go check out the new curry shop in the Furano area, CAMEL!

There were rumors that there was a buffet available during lunch, but I wanted to check it out for myself!

Where is CAMEL?

CAMEL is in the area of town close to Furano Shrine, and on the kiddy-corner from the TAIYO Pachinko Parlor.

If you are coming in from Asahikawa on Route 237, continue going straight at the stoplight next to McDonald`s. After 2 short blocks, it will be on the left-hand side corner.

This is also close to Furanoya, another Furano curry shop, known for its soup curry. So many choices, it`s hard to make a decision!

There is parking directly in front of CAMEL, as well as to the right side of the entrance.

The interior of Curry Shop CAMEL

There is both counter seating and regular table seating. During lunch however, the counter is taken up by the buffet.

The tables are placed along the outside wall. There is a table further down too, by the far window.

I chose the A Lunch Set (CAMEL Curry + Buffet)

My friend chose the B Lunch Set (Vegetable Curry + Buffet)

All of the lunch sets come with the buffet.

The Lunch Buffet Line-up

The buffet items probably vary slightly day-to-day, however these were the options the day I went.

Korean Stew (Chi-ge Soup)

While waiting for my curry to arrive, I made a selection of buffet items and began to eat.

It took around 15 minutes for our curry to arrive.

Pickles are served in a jar with the curry, which you can add if you like

The curry is the thicker kind, and a taste I certainly like!

Dessert and Coffee Time!

I was full after eating my curry, but I took some dessert and coffee anyway.

The chiffon cake and coffee were both delicious ♪

Summary of Curry Shop CAMEL

The curry was of course delicious, but so was the lunch buffet! I especially liked the fried chicken and meat dumplings. And everything was homemade! In the time it took to eat my buffet sides, the curry was prepared and came at the right moment, so I didn`t feel like I was actually waiting at all. Wrapping up the meal with the coffee and dessert also made me very happy. The Earl Grey chiffon cake was delicious 😀

The curry and lunch buffet was scrumptious and I am completely satisfied with my experience at CAMEL!

**The lunch buffet runs specifically between 11AM and 2PM
